If you saw the joint press conference by film producers to put up their case forward in their rowe with multiplex owners about sharing the box office profits, then you would find it perfectly logical that film producers present were putting up a joint front to show unity. The film producers present were Amir Khan, Shahrukh khan and B. R. Chopra amongst others.
It is perfectly logical for a warring faction to show united front in a press conference convened just for that purpose!
But here is what the media chose to report:-

Now I take objection to use of word "warring". Shahrukh and Amir are two very telented individuals in the same field. The "competition" is inevitable, and things will be boring if it did not exist. But this reporter thinks that that completion is a "war"! He seems to be looking for "insults" inflicted in the swipes taken by each on other, as part of their ongoing competition.
Reporting for a leading newspaper does not necessarily ensure a good taste ;)
