The speculations from anyone who is someone have started pouring in on what caused YSR's chopper crash. And these speculations are being reported as "facts" by media.
This one for example, on Indian Express:-
YSR's chopper deviated from route, hits cliff
"The chopper hit the cliff, crashed and exploded. All the five persons in the ill-fated helicopter were burnt to death," state Finance Minister K Rosaiah and Chief Secretary P Ramakanth Reddy said in Hyderabad on Thursday.
The chopper might have drifted from its path because of a large cloud formation due to inclement weather and ended up hitting the cliff, they said.
Look, how state Finance Minster and Chief Secretary's speculation has been reported as facts.
It is just IMPOSSIBLE to know the reasons of crash just after couple hours of finding the crashed chopper! Even most developed countries are not able to reach a conclusion that fast in case of a crash. In most cases it takes months before they know for sure the exact reasons.
So you know that there is something cooking! Look at this report:-
"Ruling out the possibility of Naxals having brought down the helicopter of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Union Minister M M Pallam Raju on Thursday said the mishap that claimed Reddy's life took place due to bad weather. "
How does a defense minster know what might have happened? He is not even the home minister, who may have some knowledge of security situation related to Naxals.
The site of the crash is in Naxal affected area, and one would think of such an attack, at least as a possibility, until ruled out by an investigation.
This kind of irresponsible statesmanship by leaders and insincere reporting does not establish confidence in whole situation.
